Making Eco-friendly [Clay] Ganeshas:On 25-8-2014 a workshop on ‘Making Eco-friendly [Clay] Ganeshas’ and celebrating Eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi was conducted, with the help of National Green Corps, Telangana State. M.Jahnavi of class X has participated in a competition held at Chaitanyapuri,Dilsukhnagar, conducted by EENADU on making Ganesha with clay and bagged first prize  

International School Award :

Kendriya Vidyalaya No:1 Uppal got International Accreditation with British Council for its Benchmarking Global Project. The Principal Mrs J.Ramadevi and the School Project Coordinator, Mrs. U. Vijaya Lakshmi  have received theInternational School award 2012-15,   from Mr. Rob Lynes , Director, British  Council of India in the International Award Ceremony held at  Mumbai on 19th November 2012.  This is the first KV  to receive this prestigious award in the entire KVS Hyderabad Region and one among the 17 Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. 






Abdisayana Reddy of class XII (Commerce Stream) has been selected by AIESEC a world wide organisation, to take part in THE PROJECT HOPE, He would be leaving for MALAYASIA for an internship from 18th November to 27 December. Students, Staff and Principal of the Vidyalaya wish him Bon voyage with all the best wishes. his topic of study and research is 'Awareness about HIV AIDS'. When asked who has been his source of inspiration, apt came his reply that his motivation and strenght  behind this rare feat is his mother.

With his project hope, he surely is a great hope for the future leader and as a torch-bearer.


 Ms Samikha Goel, one of the 2 lakhs doodlers has been  listed in the top 13 by the Google for her beautiful and thoughtful illustration on the topic Unity in Diverstiy. She has been invited to Delhi for the final round on 12th  of November. The winner would be declared on the basis of maximum votes received. Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Uppal Parivar wishes her all the very best.
